Our Fellows

Since our founding in 1945, Citizens & Scholars has supported over 27,000 visionary thinkers, scholars, and teachers in our Fellow community. We strategically invest in visionary people across the left, right, and center with diverse ideas that strengthen democracy for the long haul. Our Fellow community includes 16 Nobel Laureates, 21 Pulitzer Prize recipients, 27 Presidential and National Medalists, 44 MacArthur “Genius Grant” recipients, and more than 100 college and university presidents.
