University of Pittsburgh, a member institution of College Presidents for Civic Preparedness, hosted “A Conversation on the Role of Universities in Civic Preparedness.” Carissa Slotterback, dean of the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, facilitated a discussion emphasizing universities’ role in advancing civil discourse and fostering community engagement.
